The British Army Individual Protection Kit (IPK) Primary Standard Pack is a survival shelter kit comprising of an olive green tarpaulin, stakes and cords. Intended as an emergency two-man shelter kit for soldiers on the modern battlefield, the IPK is supplied in a sealed pouch. Intended for single use, the IPK can be easily modified into a re-usable basha by adding tarpaulin clips, rings, grommets or eyelets that are widely available online.
