British Army L111A1 Practice Hand Gren. Sn O 1139 - O 1139
This is an example of the current British Army L111A1 practice hand grenade. The steel body us covered in textured blue plastic material and it is designed to simulate the weight and use of a live grenade in training and in throwing practice. The blue plastic body has raised lettering GREN HAND PRAC PRACTICE . The fuse styled mechanism is complete with the safety pin, transit clip, orange painted fly off lever and rubber spring for the fly off lever. The base has a hollow cavity 16mm in diameter 90mm deep.
